Abstract

Illegal induced abortion, especially in adolescents, is a social problem which has been increasing rapidly every year. Illegal induced abortion has several impacts on women both physically and psychologically. Unwanted pregnancy and abortion is not accepted by Thai society, therefore, limit access and care that the adolescents should have received before and after abortion. The objectives of the article are to; 1) explore an unwanted pregnancy situation 2) explore illegal induced abortion 3) provide guidance for helping adolescents with illegal inducted abortions since before they choose induced abortion until after induced abortion. It is very important for nurses to understand that may lead to prevent an abortion and repeated illegal induced abortion in adolescents.
