Abstract

The purposes of this descriptive research were to describe the experience of health care volunteers on assisted to flood victims who stayed at the shelter center, Thammasat University, Rangsit Campus. The key in-formants were eight nursing instructors, twelve 4thyear nursing students and seventeen flood victims. Data were collected by using in-depth interview during October and November, 2011. Data analyze were content analysis. This research revealed that the experience of health care volunteers into 3 categories as follows: 1) health care assistance, 2) caring system management, and 3) coordination and association. This research provided the better understanding to guiding and strengthen health care for flood victims.
