Abstract

Perineal trauma of birth is a major problem in the mother after birth. The mothers are infected, perineal pain, loss of blood, urinary and fecal difficulty, pain during sexual intercourse, decrease sexual desire, uncomforting, and effected to the bad impression to delivery and nursing care, as well as increase the cost of care. The promoting factors of perineal trauma are short perineum, nulliparity, history of perineal trauma or repair, childbirth bearing down, macrosomia, abnormal fetal position, mother position in delivery, and method of labor.
