ฉากชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุระยะท้ายในชุมชน Life scene of older persons with the end of life in community

Abstract

การศึกษาเชิงคุณภาพนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อบรรยายฉากชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุระยะท้าย ซึ่งอาศัยอยู่ในตำบลของจังหวัดแห่งหนึ่งใน ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ผู้ให้ข้อมูลเป็นผู้สูงอายุระยะท้ายและสมาชิกครอบครัว จำนวน 42 ราย เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยวิธีการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยวิเคราะห์แก่นสาระ ผลการศึกษาสะท้อนฉากชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุระยะท้าย 2 ประเด็น คือ 1) ลักษณะของผู้สูงอายุระยะท้าย ประกอบด้วย 4 ลักษณะ และ 2) วิถีความเป็นอยู่ของผู้สูงอายุระยะท้าย ประกอบด้วย 3 ลักษณะ ผลการศึกษาดังกล่าวสามารถใช้เป็นแนวทางในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุระยะท้าย และเป็นข้อเสนอในการบูรณาการความรู้ในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุระหว่างภาควิชาชีพและภาคชุมชน

This qualitative study aimed to describe life scene of older persons with the end of life in the community at North-eastern of Thailand. Data collection method used in-depth interview and thematic analysis. Key informants were 42 older persons with the end of life and their family member. The findings revealed two patterns life scene of older persons were: 1) characteristics of older persons with the end of life in community consists of 4 characteristics and 2) lifestyle of older persons consists of 3 characteristics. The results of the present study to be a guideline in caring for older persons with the end of life and to be a suggestion in integration knowledge between professional knowledge and community in caring for older persons.
