บทคัดย่อ

ภาวะน้ำหนักเกินขณะตั้งครรภ์ เป็นปัญหาทางสุขภาพที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการเพิ่มความเสี่ยงต่อการเกิดการเจ็บป่วยและการเสียชีวิตของมารดาและทารก อุบัติการณ์ของภาวะน้ำหนักเกินขณะตั้งครรภ์ค่อยๆเพิ่มขึ้นทั่วโลก รวมทั้งประเทศไทย แสดงให้เห็นถึงความต้องการด้านสุขภาพของมารดาและทารกที่เพิ่มขึ้น พยาบาลวิชาชีพและบุคลากรสุขภาพที่เกี่ยวข้องจึงควรตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของการดูแลที่เหมาะสมสำหรับหญิงตั้งครรภ์ที่มีน้ำหนักเกิน บทความนี้ได้นำเสนอสาระสำคัญเกี่ยวกับภาวะน้ำหนักเกินขณะตั้งครรภ์ เพื่อเป็นแนวทางสำหรับการวางแผนและพัฒนาแนวทางการพยาบาลที่เฉพาะสำหรับหญิงตั้งครรภ์ที่มีภาวะน้ำหนักเกิน

Abstract

Overweight during pregnancy is a health problem as it is associated with increasing risks for maternal, fetal and neonatal morbidity and mortality. The worldwide prevalence of overweight during pregnancy has increased substantially most country worldwide, including Thailand. It is evident that the health needs of mothers and infants has increased. Nurses and health providers, therefore, need to raise awareness about the importance of proper care of pregnant women with overweight. This article aims to present key information about overweight during pregnancy as guidelines for planning and developing of nursing care specifically for those women with overweight.
