การประเมินในกระบวนการดนตรีบำบัดสำหรับเด็กที่มีความต้องการพิเศษ (Assessment in music therapy process for children with special needs)

บทคัดย่อ  

           ดนตรีบำบัดเป็นศาสตร์ที่ได้รับความสนใจจากหลากหลายสาขาวิชาในวงกว้างขึ้น มีการศึกษา และผลการวิจัยหลายชิ้นได้นำเสนอผลที่แสดงให้เห็นถึงประโยชน์จากการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมดนตรีบำบัด อย่างไรก็ตามดนตรีบำบัดในเมืองไทยยังอยู่ในช่วงเริ่มต้นของการพัฒนา โดยกระบวนดนตรีบำบัดจะเริ่มต้นจากการได้รับการส่งตัวคนไข้ การประเมินก่อนกิจกรรมดนตรีบำบัดเริ่ม การให้บริการกิจกรรมดนตรี การประเมินผลหลังได้รับกิจกรรมดนตรีบำบัดเสร็จสิ้น การประเมินในกระบวนการดนตรีบำบัดเป็นองค์ประกอบที่มีความจำเป็นอย่างมาก เนื่องจากทำให้นักดนตรีบำบัดสามารถเข้าใจจุดแข็ง จุดอ่อน และการตอบสนองต่อดนตรีของผู้ป่วยได้ดียิ่งขึ้น ข้อมูลจากการประเมินนั้นช่วยให้นักดนตรีบำบัดเตรียมกิจกรรมดนตรีบำบัดให้เหมาะสมกับความต้องการของผู้ป่วย และยังช่วยในการประเมินว่าดนตรีบำบัดนั้นมีประโยชน์ต่อผู้ป่วยอย่างไร ในบทความนี้มุ่งนำเสนอเนื้อหาตั้งแต่จุดมุ่งหมายของการประเมิน ขอบเขตของการประเมิน แนวทางของการประเมิน และตัวอย่างกิจกรรมดนตรีบำบัดที่ใช้ในการประเมิน พร้อมให้ข้อเสนอแนะสำหรับการจัดการประเมินในกระบวนการดนตรีบำบัดสำหรับเด็กที่มีความต้องการพิเศษอีกด้วย

Abstract

            Music therapy has gained more interested from many researchers in different fields. This is because many research have shown a positive impact to the patients after participating in music therapy sessions. However, it is still an infant stage of development in music therapy in Thailand. Music therapy process comprises of receiving a referral, music therapy assessment, providing music therapy intervention and assessment again after completing music therapy intervention program. Assessment in music therapy process is an essential component because music therapists can have a better understand about their patients such as their strength, weakness and how they respond to music. These information enable the music therapist to prepare the intervention which suits their patients’ needs and to evaluate how music therapy benefits the patients. This article focuses on the objectives of assessment in the music therapy process, the domains of assessments, guideline of the assessment and examples of the music therapy activity in the assessment process. Lastly the article will provide suggestions for conducting assessment in music therapy process.
