Effects of promoting perceived self-efficacy program on perceived self-efficacy and behavior of nurses to prevent ventilator-associated

Abstract

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยกึ่งทดลองแบบหนึ่งกลุ่มวัดก่อน-หลังการทดลองนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมส่งเสริมสมรรถนะแห่งตนต่อการรับรู้สมรรถนะและพฤติกรรมของพยาบาลในการป้องกันปอดอักเสบจากการใช้เครื่องช่วยหายใจ เลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง คือ พยาบาล จำนวน 15 ราย และ ผู้ป่วยเด็กระยะวิกฤต จำนวน  44 ราย เครื่องมือวิจัย คือ โปรแกรมส่งเสริมสมรรถนะแห่งตน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติที ผลการทดลองพบว่า 1) หลังการทดลอง พยาบาลมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยการรับรู้สมรรถนะแห่งตนและพฤติกรรมในการป้องกันปอดอักเสบจากการใช้เครื่องช่วยหายใจสูงกว่าก่อนทดลอง อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p<0.05)  2) หลังการทดลอง อุบัติการณ์การเกิดปอดอักเสบจากการใช้เครื่องช่วยหายใจในหอผู้ป่วยเด็กระยะวิกฤตลดลงจาก 18.32 เป็น 13.19 ต่อ 1,000 วัน ใช้เครื่องช่วยหายใจและสามารถนำโปรแกรมส่งเสริมสมรรถนะแห่งตนไปใช้ โดยการจัดกลุ่มตามความรู้ ความสามารถและประสบการณ์ของพยาบาลเพื่อผลลัพธ์ที่มีประสิทธิภาพต่อไป

ABSTRACT

This quasi-experimental research, one group pre-posttest design, aimed to study the effects of promoting perceived self- efficacy program on perceived self-efficacy and behavior of nurses to prevent ventilator-associated pneumonia. The sampling group was 15 nurses, and 44  patients  who admitted in pediatric intensive care unit. The research instruments were self-efficacy program. Data were analyzed using t-test. Results found that after the experiment: 1) The mean score on nurses their self-efficacy and their behaviors was statistically significant higher than before experiment (p<0.05) 2) The incidence of ventilator-associated pneumonia was decreased from 18.32 to 13.19 per 1,000 days of ventilation using.

Self-efficacy program should be promoting perceived self-efficacy, and grouping by knowledge, ability and experience for more effective results.
