Relationship between Academic Environment Supports, Learning Happiness and Academic Achievement of Nursing Students at Kuakarun Faculty of Nursing, Navamindradhiraj University

This research aimed to study the relationship between academic environment supports, learning happiness and academic achievement of nursing students at Kuakarun Faculty of Nursing, Navamindradhiraj University. The sample included 800 first to fourth year nursing students of Kuakarun Faculty of Nursing in 2014. The instrument used in the study was a set of questionnaires including academic achievement (GPA), academic environment supports and learning happiness. Reliability of instruments were .84 and .87 respectively. Data were analyzed by using mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s coefficient of correlation. The results of this study showed that the overall mean of academic achievement (GPA) was at a moderate level; the overall mean of academic environment supports and learning happiness was as the high level. Academic achievement (GPA) was lower positive significantly associated with academic environment supports (r = .139, p < .01) and learning happiness(r = .153, p < .01). However, academic environment supports was higher positive significantly associated with learning happiness (r = .741, p < .01).Published
