รายงานผู้ป่วยที่น่าสนใจ Cerebral venous thrombosis in a patient with group B streptococcus meningitis

ผู้ป่วยหญิงอายุ 32 ปีมาพบแพทย์ด้วยเรื่องไข้ ปวดหัว ซึมลง ตรวจร่างกายพบคอแข็ง ได้รับการวินิจฉัยเบื้องต้นว่าเป็นเยื่อหุ้มสมองอักเสบ การส่งตรวจเพิ่มเติม ผลเพาะเชื้อในเลือดและน้ำไขสันหลังพบ group B streptococcus ต่อมาหลังได้รับการรักษาประมาณ 7 วัน อาการผู้ป่วยทรุดลง ส่งตรวจเพิ่มเติมพบสมองบวมและ cerebral venous sinus thrombosis จึงได้รับการรักษาด้วยยาลดสมองบวม ยาปฏิชีวนะต่อเนื่อง และยากันเลือดเป็นลิ่ม อาการผู้ป่วยดีขึ้นจนเดินได้เป็นปกติ
