Research Ethics in Health-related Research Involving Humans

Research involving humans must be approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Ethics Committee (EC) before conducting research according to good practices in human research. These standards are based on the WMA Declaration of Helsinki - Ethical Principles for Medical Research Involving Human Subjects in 2013, International Ethical Guidelines for Health-related Research Involving Humans: CIOMS in 2016, International Council For Harmonisation Of Technical Requirements For Pharmaceuticals For Human Use in 2016, and may also include relevant good clinical research practices.

The Journal of Nakornping Hospital has a policy that research involving humans must adhere to good clinical research practices and provide documentation approved by the relevant institutional research ethics committee for publication.
