Results of Model of Prevent Road Traffic Injury by Cooperation Intrigued with of District Health Board Policy at Sam Sung District, Khon Kaen Province

Abstract

This study is an action research were to results of model of prevent road traffic injury by collaboration intrigued with of district health board policy at Sam Sung district, Khon Kaen province. The target population was 61 participants: district health board policy, district road traffic center board, subdistrict road traffic center board and subdistrict health board policy. The research tools include: 1) the group recorded form, 2) monitoring recorded form, 3) evaluation recorded form, 4) questionnaires, 5) the evaluate efficacy model development. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and content analysis. The research findings as follows. The issue contexts of injury prevention from traffic accidents include: people's risk behavior; analyzing the dangerous or black spot, risk point assessment; driving vehicles; the cause of death; traffic discipline; law enforcement; and collaboration intrigued. The model was consisted into 4 main categories: the establishment of a district road traffic center board; safe driving model community; correcting dangerous or black spots; and an investigation into the causes of injury and death.  The results of using model of prevent road traffic injury by cooperation intrigued process with of district health board policy at Sam Sung district:  users’ participation levels ranks at highest level (4.33, S.D = 0.37); safe driving model community 4 subdistrict; the number of  road  accident  victims decreased by  442, 316, 289, 333, 360 และ 161 people between 2017 and 2022, respectively; the death rate of death accident  victims decreased by 4.21, 4.21, 8.42, 29.56, 12.56  and 8.42 rate per 100,000 population between 2017 and 2022, respectively; and Examine the efficacy of the model of prevent road traffic injury by cooperation intrigued process with of district health board policy at Sam Sung district that users’ satisfaction levels was ranked at a highest level ( = 4.24, S.D = 0.12. Certified as a district road traffic injury(D-RTI) at the advanced level. 

          In conclusion, results of model in a reduction in the number of road accident and case of death, which should be fatherly expanded and brought into the cooperation intrigued process with of district health board policy to developing the quality of life of the people systematically and continuously.
