Causal Factors of Behavior in Preventing Electronic Cigarette Consumption Among Youth: A systematic review

Abstract

This systematic literature review concentrates on the analysis of causal factors of behavior in preventing electronic cigarettes consumption among youth. These considered scholarly articles and research papers are available in the electronic journal 9 database, encompassing publications from 2017 to 2022 in both Thai and English languages. There were 13 articles matching the criteria, focusing on the following issues: 1) Attitude Toward Behaviors of No Electronic Cigarette Consumption 2) Perceived behaviors: control of behavior in preventing electronic cigarette consumption and 3) Media literacy of electronic cigarettes advertises causal factors of behavior in preventing electronic cigarette consumption among youth (refusal of electronic cigarette consumption and avoidance of stimuli for electronic cigarette consumption) and Key findings on The factors influencing causal factors of behavior in preventing electronic cigarettes consumption among youth offer valuable insights for researchers and individuals concerned with addressing this issue. These insights, derived from the analysis and synthesis of the literature review, can serve as guiding principles for developing models or activities aimed at fostering behavior that prevents electronic cigarette consumption among youth, tailored to the specifics of the local context.
