Organizational Support and Key Success Factors Affecting the Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever Prevention and Control Performance of the Village Health Volunteers Lomsak District Phetchabun Province

Abstract

This cross-sectional descriptive research aimed to study organizational support and key success factors affecting the Dengue hemorrhagic fever prevention and control performance of the village health volunteers Lomsak district Phetchabun province, Thailand. 126 samples were randomly selected as samples by stratified random sampling techniques from 3,202 populations and 12 key informants were In - Depth Interview. Collecting data from the questionnaire was checked by 3 experts and all items of IOC more than 0.50 including the reliability from the total of questionnaire was 0.95. Quantitative and qualitative data was collected between 21^st to 28^th February 2022. Data analysis was performed by descriptive and inferential statistics as significant level at 0.05. The results showed that the overall of organizational support, key success factors were at high level and the Dengue hemorrhagic fever prevention and control performance of the village health volunteers was at moderate level. The Predictive Equation in Unstandardized score:          Y = 1.568 + (0.282) (the key success factor of relevant departments have supported the operation). The Predictive Equation in Standardized score: Z = 0.448 (the key success factor of relevant departments have supported the operation) was affected and could predict the Dengue hemorrhagic fever prevention and control performance of the village health volunteers Lomsak district Phetchabun province at 20.1 percentage.
