Evaluation Performance of Disease Free Child Care Center under the Urban Area Organization 7th Public Health Region in 2019

Abstract

Evaluation performance of disease free child care center. It is an assessment according to the plan for prevention of disease control in children. This study was a cross-sectional research. The objective is to assess the preventive operation of disease control in the child development center in accordance with the operating requirements of the medical center. 4 side, Include management, personnel, environment and sanitary facilities, and Material equipment to protect the disease. Total 35 criteria total points from 28 points (80%) or more. The sample is child development center under the urban area organization 7 th  public health region ,25 centers. Collect information by interview the observation of the researcher .According to the assessment of disease free child development center. Collect data between December 2561-June 2562.The statistics used to analyze data are the frequency and percentage.

The results of the study showed that. Children development center, assessment result 13 centers (52%)not qualified 12 centers (48%).There is a gap that must be developed in all4sides.(1)Management find that no board meeting / working group on the subject  health care and health development of children(56%).(2)The personnel find that child vaccination is not recorded and tracked in full care by the criteria (94%) .No record of health issues and basic care of children (76%) .No annual health check-up/pulmonary radiation examination results (68%).There is no activity table to educate the prevention of disease Control (60%).(3) Environment and sanitary facilities  find that The amount of the toilets is not proportional to the number of children (52%) . And (4) Material equipment to protect the disease find that no material to First aid equipment (28%). etc.

This study suggested that the urban Area, Executives should have a policy systematic management. And the operators have the knowledge and skills to apply correctly in the child development center . By defining the qualifications of the teacher. Receive Annual health check-up and a full range of pulmonary radiation detection results.  A policy and support for the board of directors/working committees should be meeting regularly. To provide health care and health development of children as a recurring agenda. Make a preliminary report on your results and health care. The coverage has been vaccinated in accordance with the criteria. There is activity table to educate the prevention of disease control .Allocate budgets In the supply of toilets and sinks to the standard .Material of First aid equipment And various forms. And contributing to surveillance, prevention and control And early childhood health care. Compliance with the requirements criteria of disease free child care center. Finally,  the child to receive a standard service. Safe immunity to disease and health hazards in the children development center.
