Personal Characteristic and Factor in Administration Affecting Work Practice Standardized Epidemiology Contagious Disease Work of Health Officer at Sub-District Health Promoting Hospitals in Mahasarakham Province.

Abstract

This cross sectional descriptive research  aimed to study objectives for personal characteristic and the factor in the administration that affect work practice standardized on epidemiology contagious disease work  of health officer at Sub-District  Health  Promoting Hospitals  in Mahasarakham Province. The sample is health officer who work contagious disease epidemiology  140 persons amounts  were drawn using simple random sampling. The data collection were carried out from January 20 to February 28, 2013. Frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and Stepwise Linear Multiple Regression were performed to analyzed collected data.

The findings found that most of them male for 60.71 % ,their average age 35.02 years old ,were marries for 65.71 % , their education degree as bachelor's degree 82.14%,  income average 21,655.55 baht ,duration of working  6.67 years , and used to be practiced epidemiology contagious disease 93.57% , the factor in the administration was  average (Mean dif = 3.44, 95%CI = 3.41 - 3.48 ) and work practice  standardized epidemiology contagious disease work  was high level (Mean dif = 3.77 , 95%CI = 3.70 - 3.84).The personal character included education level has low relation  with work practice others have no relationship and the factor in the administration average at significant level ( r= 0315,95%CI =3.70 - 1.00, p-value < 0.001 ) Stepwise regression analysis revealed that three factors, time and  morale factors in the work  and  the education level  could jointly predict the work practice standardized epidemiology contagious disease work  of health officer at Sub-District  Health  Promoting Hospitals in Mahasarakham province at 29.2 (R²adj=0.292)
