Abstract

The study is Cross-sectional Analytic Study. The objective was to study the administrative factors  affecting  performance  of  dentists in accorded  with  dental care service  privilege  under dental care fund at community hospitals  at the public health region 10. The population was 118 of dentists worked at the community hospitals at the public health region 10. Statistical methods used in this study included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, median, max, min,  Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression analysis (p-value < 0.05). The results showed that the administrative factors were found at high level (= 3.72, S.D. = 0.15). The dentists’ performance was at high level (= 3.54, S.D. = 0.13). The demographic characteristics including gender, age, marital status, education level, income and period of worked at community hospital were not significantly correlated to the dentists’ performance. The administrative factors had positive relationship to the dentists’ performance (r = .537, p-value<0.001). The administrative factors  that could  predict the dentists’ performance at the significant level of 0.05 were the  management factor, moral factor of the administrative factors. Those two factors were able to predict the  dentists’ performance at  50.0%. The problems and obstacles with regard to the insufficient knowledge of state sector administration and discontinue to plan  for solving the oral health problems.
