Systematic random sampling was utilized to select 150 Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus  elderly patients in Huai Rat district, Buriram  province.  Data collection was carried out from August  14 to October 2, 2015. Data analysis was performed using both descriptive and inferential statistics including Pearson product-moment Correlation and stepwise Multiple Regression.

The findings revealed that the level of oral care attitude at a medium level (89.30%). The level of oral care behaviors in high level (88.00 %) and the level of oral health at a medium level (60.67 %) and found that HbA1c related to oral health  of  Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus  elderly patients had a statistically significant medium relationship (r= -0.326, 95% CI=-0.504 to -0.123, P-value <0.001). Factors related to oral health of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus  elderly patients had a statistically significant low relationship. Blood pressure (r=0.264, 95% CI = 0.099 to 0.417, P-value = 0.004) Brushing habits (r=0.212, 95% CI=0.061to 0.361, P-value=0.009). oral care attitude (r = 0.165, 95% CI = 0.005 to 0.320, P-value=0.043). oral care behaviors (r=0.188, 95% CI=0.047 to 0.312, P-value=0.021). Stepwise regression analysis indicated that there were statistically significant relationships between three factors 1) HbA1c (b = -0.129, t= -4.279, p-value <0.001)  2) Brushing habits (b = 0.291,t= 2.650, p-value =0.009)  and  3) Oral care behaviors (b = 0.158, t= 1.97, p-value = 0.050). These three factors together  could predicted 17.6% of  oral health  of  Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus  elderly patients  (Adjusted R2 = 0.176).
