Abstract

This research is quasi – experimental research and aim to study the effects of health education program with electronic media (facebook) on skill development for adolescent pregnancy prevention among grade 7 students in secondary school, muang district, KhonKaen province. The samples were 85 students and divided two groups such as experimental group was 49 students and comparison group was 36 students. The experimental group was received health education program that composed of lecture with electronic media (facebook), games, brain storming, training, group discussion. Data collection were collected by questionnaires and analyzed by descriptive statics such as percentage, mean, standard deviation, maximum and minimum. Internal difference comparison was used paired sample t-test and between groups were used independent sample t-test. The significant was set at p-value< 0.05 and 95% confidence interval (95% CI)

The result; after experimented, the experimental group had mean score of knowledge about adolescent pregnancy prevention, critical thinking and creative thinking, decision making and problem solving, self awareness and empathy, effective communication and interpersonal relationship and coping with emotions and coping with stress were higher than before and comparison group significant
(p-value < 0.001)
