The Participation in Dengue hemorrhagic fever prevention and control of village health volunteer at samliam community khonkaen municipality

Abstract

This cross-sectional descriptive research was aimed to study the participation in dengue hemorrhagic fever prevention and control of village health volunteer at Samliam community KhonKaen municipality.The population of this study was 130villagehealth volunteer. Data were collected by questionnaire in 103 samples by using simple random sampling technique. The data was then analyzed percentage, average, standard deviation, median, maximum and minimum. Pearson correlation and multiple linear regressions. The results showed that the level of organizational support in overview were at high level with averages 2.41(S.D.=0.27)and participation in dengue hemorrhagic fever prevention and control of village health volunteer were at high level with averages2.41 (S.D=0.25)respectively. Personal attributes in age have low positive relationship with participation in dengue hemorrhagic fever prevention and control of village health volunteer. Personal attributes; age and organizational support; man money material and management could predict the participation in dengue hemorrhagic fever prevention and control of village health volunteer75.1% (R²=0.751, p-value 0.001).
