Abstract
The duration time and the factors associated with patients discharge from the recovery room this indicate
the quality of care and patients' safety and suitable time for discharge planning. This study aimed to study the
duration time and the factors associated with the patients discharge from the recovery room in Nan Hospital in
August, 2014. Data were collected by researcher 70 percentages and 2-register nurse 30 percentages. The
questionnaires utilized for collecting data included 1) Demographic data; 2) Observation form in recovery room; 3) Observation form for collecting factors associated with with patients discharge from the recovery room.
The study showed that 1) Duration time from the recovery room (MD = 3.34 mins); Patients ready for
discharging (MD=10.26); officers service (MD=10.30); and Diagnostic unit (MD=25.24). 2) Factors associated
with patients discharge from the recovery room cause from incoordination officers service, ward, recovery room nurses, inpatients, anesthetist, diagnostic unit, and surgeon (74.80 ,71.60, 12.40, 7.80, 7.50 ,1.60 ,1.30 ula: 0.30 percentages) respectively.
