Abstract

Evans syndrome is a rare hematologic disorder with unknown etiology, characterized by the combination of autoimmune hemolytic anemia and immune thrombocytopenic purpura, sometimes accompanied by neutropenia. There have been a large number of evidences showing closed relationship between systemic disorders that have compromised level and function of neutrophil and severe periodontitis. This is the first case report demonstrating clinical expression of aggressive form of periodontium in patient with Evans syndrome and possible relationship between them.
