Abstract

Addressing early childhood development through the Three Good policy, which emphasizes good media, good spaces, and good folk wisdom, requires collaboration among teachers, children, parents, and communities. This participatory action research aimed to develop a three good process management model by families for early childhood development. The sample group consisted of 45 parents, 9 community leaders, and 5 teachers from a Child Development Center, selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument comprised open-ended questions for group meetings, divided into three sets: 1) questions to design activities based on the three good process, 2) questions to follow up on Three good process activity implementation, and 3) questions to identify problems in organizing activities. Data were analyzed using the content analysis method. The findings revealed problems such as a lack of grandparents' cooperation, insufficient space and equipment, parents' lack of knowledge, and excessive mobile phone use among children. The three good process management model consisted of four components: 1) establishing practical and achievable policies and objectives, 2) developing parents’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes using knowledge management processes, enhancing the working group’s ability to organize child development activities and create good media, 3) designing concrete work methods with clear responsibilities, and 4) ensuring support from government and private community organizations while allocating space for shared activities. All four elements reinforced the collaboration between individuals and organizations in the community and promoted the continuity of the three good processes for early childhood development.
