ความเข้มแข็งในการมองโลกกับคุณภาพชีวิตในมิติสุขภาพช่องปากผู้สูงอายุไทย

บทคัดย่อ
ปัจจุบันประเทศไทยกำลังก้าวสู่สังคมผู้สูงอายุอย่างเต็มรูปแบบ เพื่อให้มีการเตรียมพร้อมในการดูแลปัญหาสุขภาพของผู้สูงอายุ การพิจารณาดูแลสุขภาพแบบองค์รวมในทุกมิติทั้งทางร่างกาย จิตใจ จิตวิญญาณ สังคม รวมทั้งคุณภาพชีวิตในด้านต่าง ๆ จึงมีความจำเป็นอย่างยิ่ง การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อหาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความเข้มแข็งในการมองโลกกับคุณภาพชีวิตในมิติสุขภาพช่องปากในผู้สูงอายุจำนวน 350 คน ในเขตพื้นที่อำเภอไชยวาน จังหวัดอุดรธานี เก็บข้อมูลโดยการสัมภาษณ์และตรวจสภาวะช่องปาก ผลการศึกษาพบว่า มีกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่เป็นผู้สูงอายุเพศชาย ร้อยละ 44 เพศหญิง ร้อยละ 56 อายุเฉลี่ย 68+5.9 ปี มีค่าเฉลี่ยของความเข้มแข็งในการมองโลก ที่ 66.8+9.1 และค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนของผลกระทบคุณภาพชีวิตในมิติสุขภาพช่องปาก ที่ 5.3+8.6 พบว่าความเข้มแข็งในการมองโลกสัมพันธ์กับในภาพรวมและทุกประเด็นย่อยของคุณภาพชีวิตในมิติสุขภาพช่องปากอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ โดยกลุ่มผู้สูงอายุที่มีความเข้มแข็งในการมองโลกต่ำมีผลกระทบของคุณภาพชีวิตในมิติสุขภาพช่องปากมากกว่ากลุ่มที่มีความเข้มแข็งในการมองโลกสูง ซึ่งผลการศึกษาในครั้งนี้ทำให้ได้ข้อมูลที่สามารถนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ในการดูแลสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุแบบองค์รวมต่อไป
