บทคัดย่อ
ฟันตัดซี่กลางบนคุดเป็นปัญหาที่ไม่ถูกพบบ่อยนักในการรักษาทางทันตกรรม แต่มีความสำคัญมากเนื่องจากมีผลกระทบโดยตรงต่อความสวยงาม สภาพจิตใจ และอาจนำไปสู่ปัญหาด้านการออกเสียงในอนาคต การตรวจพบและการรักษาตั้งแต่ในระยะแรกๆ มีความสำคัญมากต่อการป้องกันผลกระทบต่างๆ ที่จะเกิดขึ้นภายหลัง ทั้งในแง่ของผลการรักษา สภาพจิตใจของผู้ป่วย ระยะเวลาและค่าใช้จ่ายในการรักษา ซึ่งควรทำการรักษาให้เร็วที่สุดเมื่อพร้อม การรักษาโดยใช้เครื่องมือจัดฟันชนิด ทูบายโฟร์ แอพพลายแอนซ์ เป็นทางเลือกหนึ่งที่มีประโยชน์มากเนื่องจากสามารถทำการรักษาได้ตั้งแต่ในระยะฟันชุดผสม รายงานฉบับนี้เป็นกรณีศึกษาในผู้ป่วยเด็กชายอายุ 9 ปีได้รับการวินิจฉัยว่ามีฟันตัดซี่กลางบนซ้ายไม่สามารถขึ้นได้เองในช่องปาก ผู้ป่วยได้รับการรักษาโดยใช้เครื่องมือจัดฟันชนิด ทูบายโฟร์ แอพพลายแอนซ์ ร่วมกับการศัลยกรรมช่วยให้ฟันขึ้น โดยการเปิดเหงือกวิธีที่แผ่นเหงือกอยู่ในตำแหน่งเดิม และใช้แรงจากเครื่องมือจัดฟัน เพื่อเคลื่อนฟันให้เข้าสู่ตำแหน่งที่เหมาะสม ผลการรักษาได้ผลสำเร็จเป็นที่น่าพอใจ
