Journal Policy and Editorial Process

All manuscripts submitted to the Khon Kaen Dental Journal and considered for publication must undergo a rigorous peer-review process conducted by editorial members and invited external reviewers with relevant expertise. The editorial process consists of the following steps:

1.  The author(s) will receive an email notification from the editorial team confirming receipt of the manuscript.

2.  The editors will conduct an initial evaluation of the manuscript’s overall quality, scope, relevance, and novelty. Only manuscripts that demonstrate scientific merit and align with the aims and scope of the journal will proceed further.

3.  Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be reviewed by at least two external reviewers using a double-blinded peer-review process, in compliance with the policies of the Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI).

4.  The final editorial decision will be made by the editorial team after receiving and considering the reviewers’ comments and recommendations.

5.  The author(s) will be notified by email of the final decision, whether the manuscript is accepted, accepted with revisions, or rejected.
