Case report: A 2 Years old Boy with Weakness both legs

Abstract

A 2 years old patient presented with fever and weakness both legs. Physical examination found papulovesicular lesions on oral mucosa and both palms and soles with weakness both legs. Magnetic resonance imaging of spine revealed intramedullary hypersignal intensity of spinal cord from T7-T12 level. Patient was diagnosis with acute transverse myelitis and treated with intravenous methylprednisolone for five days. Result was partially recovered.
