This predictive research aimed to study the participation of expectant fathers having wives with high risk pregnancy and the factors predicting the participation of expectant fathers having wives with high risk pregnancy. The sample consisted of 154 fathers with high-risk wives who brought them to receive antenatal care at a hospital in Chiang Mai. The sample group was selected according to the specified characteristics. The instruments used for data collection consisted of a general information questionnaire, the Involvement Questionnaire for Fathers with High-Risk Pregnancy, the Marital Relationship Questionnaire, the Coping Anxiety Questionnaire, and the Social Support Questionnaire, with Cronbach’s alpha coefficients of .95, .96, .87 and .93, respectively. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression. The research findings demonstrated that expectant fathers whose wives experienced high-risk pregnancies participated in the pregnancy process at high levels (74.70%). Predictive factors of paternal involvement among expectant fathers whose wives had high-risk pregnancies included: education level (B = .442, p < .001), family income (B = .395, p < .001), marital relationship (B = .546, p < .001), and social support (B = .428, p < .001). Together, these four factors accounted for 68.9% of the variance in paternal involvement. (p < .001).
