Abstract

 The development of effective and safe patient care requires the establishment of standards in care with data from multiple perspectives. The objective is to present new perspectives on patients’ perceptions of safety culture, which has found patient safety problems. The government has implemented various policies that promote patient safety by studying patient safety culture policies related to personnel work, which still lacks one perspective on patient perception from the patient’s perspective. Safety culture here means what patients value in self-care and care from health personnel from the patient’s perspective. Patients need and reflect on what patients evaluate in the care of the medical personnel team, feelings of safety, patient information sharing, teamwork, communication with patients, care teams, and personnel management. Therefore, promoting a safety culture must focus on raising awareness among patients and personnel at the same time to see the importance of patient safety. The information is useful for Nursing Administration, Nurses, and Nursing researchers is necessary to understand and perceive information related to this perspective to improve the quality of care for patients.
