Abstract

This descriptive research study investigated personal factors, attitudes towards healthcare, access to services, and levels of well - being behaviors. Additionally, it examined factors associated with well – being based on lifestyle medicine among 213 personnel from the Department of Health, Ministry of Public Health. Data were collected using a questionnaire with reliability scores of .764 for attitudes towards healthcare, .903 for access to services, .762 for well - being behaviors, and .809 for the overall tool reliability. Data analysis involved basic statistical methods, including percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s correlation coefficient to determine relationships.
The study found that the sample group exhibited high levels of positive attitudes towards healthcare (M = 4.04, SD =.37) and high levels of access to healthcare services (M = 3.82, SD =.72) but only moderate levels of well-being behaviors (M = 3.49 SD =.50). Furthermore, Attitudes towards healthcare were highly correlated with well-being behaviors (r = .531**, p < .001), while access to healthcare services was moderately correlated with well-being behaviors (r = .383**, p < .001).
Therefore, it is necessary to encourage Department of Health personnel to make appropriate behavioral changes for well - being behaviors in the areas of nutrition, physical activity, and sleep, so that they can continue to take care of their own health, their families, and the community.
