This descriptive research aimed to study the factors related to the quality of life of caregivers of terminally ill patients in a district of Chaiyaphum Province. The sample consisted of 220 caregivers of terminally ill patients. The instruments used to collect data were a general information questionnaire, an attitude questionnaire towards caring for terminally ill patients, an assessment of skills in caring for terminally ill patients, and a quality of life questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and analyzed by using Pearson’s product moment correlation. The results of the research found that the factors related to the quality of life of caregivers of terminally ill patients: skills in caring for terminally ill patients (r=0.429, p-value<.05) were significantly related to the quality of life of caregivers of terminally ill patients in a positive direction at a statistical level of .05, and attitudes toward caring for terminally ill patients (r=0.345,p-value<.05) were significantly related to the quality of life of caregivers in a positive direction at a statistical level of .05. Nurses should promote the health of caregivers and prepare them by developing the potential of caregivers of chronic patients so that they can adapt and provide care to patients with chronic diseases. Importantly, caregivers have a good quality of life.
