The Development of Health Literacy Programs Affects Knowledge, Behavior and Performance Correct Use of Drugs in Non-Communicable Diseases of Village Health Volunteers Ubon Ratchathani Province

A quasi-experimental study to the effect of an unreasonable drug efficacy-enhancing program among non-communicable diseases among village health volunteers. Ubon Ratchathani Province. The sample was a village health volunteer in Ubon Ratchathani Province. A sample of 160 people was calculated, divided into experimental group and control group of 80 people each,The experimental group participated in a 24 week program for enhancing the competency of correct use of drugs in non-communicable diseases (NCDs) group. The control group received standard care from the hospital. The tools used for the collection and check the quality of confidence as follows : Knowledge scale, KR-20 value is 0.99. Behavior scale is 0.89. and Competentcy scale is 0.67. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics.Test data with Independent t-test The research findings were as follow.
The results showed that the experimental group had knowledge, behavior and competency in rational drug use. in the chronic non-communicable disease group higher than the control group after receiving the rational use of medicine competency-enhancing program in the non-communicable chronic disease group of village health volunteers, statistically significant at the level (p<.05). Recommendations of this research can bring the program Applied to community leaders, community leaders, care givers.
