Abstract

COVID 19 is a fast spreading pandemic with a high mortality rate. People around the world have to adjust to the new living style including medical personnel who need to adapt to the new working circumstances. Home health care units also need to carry out the country’s main mission in caring for general patients and patients with COVID 19. In other words, they need to perform discharge planning, home visit, continuous follow up, and referral service in the community continuing care by applying the patient care principles to provide appropriate nursing services in terms of preventing infection and spread of diseases, encouraging patients and their families to recognize the importance of vaccination, and applying technology in taking care of patients in response to the hospital missions. This serves as part of the public health system to promote well-being for everyone and to overcome this COVID 19 pandemic situation.
