Thesis Analysis Related to Correlational Predictive Factors in Heart Failure Patient: A Scoping Review

Heart failure is a crucial global health problem and also in Thailand, that leads to hospitalization and mortality cause in adults and older patients. This scoping review aimed to analyze and synthesize knowledge from Master in Nursing Science Program thesis in Thailand from 2012 to 2021, focusing on survey research design that associated of predictive factors related to heart failure patients. Method: Systematic scoping review methodology: Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) was applied for searching update and reliable evidences from accessible electronic database related to Master in Nursing Science Program thesis. Using search strategy: PRISMA-ScR searching process, 11 full-text eligible articles were included and critically analyzed toward appraisal criteria. Results: It demonstrated update and continually publications in scholar journals. Most of them focused on quality of life, physical symptoms, depression, and self-management behavior. The significant predictors were depression, social support, and dyspnea. The suggestions: These results guide meta-analysis for further study. Moreover, thesis advisors and graduate students should focus the study of significant predictive variables confirmation and interrelationship among these variables in order to develop nursing theory and improve quality of life among heart failure patients.
