การปฏิบัติการพยาบาลเพื่อลดอาการปวดของผู้ป่วยมะเร็ง: การวิเคราะห์อภิมาน Nursing Interventions for Relief Pain in Cancer Patients: Meta-Analysis

Abstract

การวิเคราะห์อภิมานนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการปฏิบัติทางการพยาบาลเพื่อลดอาการปวดของผู้ป่วยมะเร็ง เป็นงานวิจัยกึ่งทดลองที่ศึกษาในประเทศไทยในช่วงปี พ.ศ. 2545 - 2555 ที่ศึกษาเกี่ยวกับการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลเพื่อลดอาการปวดของผู้ป่วยมะเร็งพบว่ามีจำนวน 9 เรื่อง คำนวณค่าขนาดอิทธิพลของการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลโดยใช้สูตรของ Glass, McGraw and Smith (1981) ใช้กรอบแนวคิดประเภทของการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลของ Snyder (1992) แบ่งเป็น 3 ประเภท คือ การปฏิบัติการพยาบาล ด้านการรู้คิด ด้านการรับสัมผัส และแบบผสมผสาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การปฏิบัติทางการพยาบาลเพื่อลดอาการปวดของผู้ป่วยมะเร็งทั้ง 3 ประเภท ส่วนใหญ่มีค่าขนาดอิทธิพลขนาดใหญ่ จากการสังเคราะห์งานวิจัยครั้งนี้เสนอให้นำผลวิจัยนี้มาพัฒนาแนวปฏิบัติการพยาบาล เพื่อลดอาการปวดของผู้ป่วยมะเร็งและจัดทำฐานข้อมูลเพื่อการศึกษาต่อไป

The purpose of this meta-analysis was to study nursing interventions for decreasing pain with cancer patients. The 9 quasi-experimental research in Thailand during 2002 - 2012 studies were analyzed for general, methodology and type of nursing interventions. Effect sizes were calculated for each study using the method of Glass, McGraw, and Smith (1981). According to Snyder (1992), nursing interventions were categorized into 3
types of cognitive intervention, sensory intervention and mix intervention.
Results revealed that all types of nursing interventions on pain in cancer had large effect size. Recommendations for further study are guidelines improvement for nursing intervention and the development of nursing intervention database on pain cancer patients.
