ความไวทางจริยธรรม: แนวคิดและการประยุกต์ สู่การจัดการเรียนการสอนทางการพยาบาล Ethical Sensitivity: Concept and Application for Teaching in Nursing

Abstract

ประเด็นทางจริยธรรมที่ก่อให้เกิดสถานการณ์ความขัดแย้งอาจเกิดขึ้นได้ในการปฏิบัติการพยาบาล ความไวทางจริยธรรม(ethical sensitivity) เป็นความสามารถในการรับรู้และตีความสถานการณ์ว่ามีประเด็นทางจริยธรรมเกิดขึ้นในสถานการณ์นั้น ซึ่งส่งผลต่อสวัสดิภาพของบุคคลอื่น และสามารถตอบสนองต่อปัญหาและความต้องการของผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องได้อย่างเหมาะสม วัตถุประสงค์ของบทความนี้เขียนขึ้นเพื่อทบทวนความหมาย และองค์ประกอบของความไวทางจริยธรรม แนวทางการเสริมสร้างความไวทางจริยธรรมและการประยุกต์สู่การจัดการเรียนการสอนทางการพยาบาล การเสริมสร้างความไวทางจริยธรรมสำหรับพยาบาลควรกระทำทั้งในระดับหลักสูตรปริญญาตรีซึ่งมีความสำคัญในการเตรียมความพร้อมของนักศึกษาพยาบาลเข้าสู่วิชาชีพ และการอบรมต่อเนื่องสำหรับพยาบาลที่จบการศึกษาแล้ว แนวทางการจัดการเรียนการสอนเพื่อพัฒนาความไวทางจริยธรรมควรให้ผู้เรียนได้สัมผัสประสบการณ์จริงและการมีตัวแบบบทบาทที่เหมาะสม ส่วนวิธีการสอนอาจใช้ร่วมกันหลากหลายวิธี เช่น การอภิปรายกลุ่ม การใช้กรณีศึกษา การสวมบทบาท การสะท้อน การเยี่ยมตรวจทางจริยธรรม และการร่วมเป็นคณะกรรมการจริยธรรมสหสาขา

Ethical conflct situations may occur in every day of practice. Ethical sensitivity is the ability to recognize and interpret the ethical issues arisen in the situation which can inflence the welfare of others, and respond to the problems and needs of those involved appropriately. The objectives of this article were to review the meaning and components of ethical sensitivity, and to propose guidelines for enhancing ethical sensitivity and applications for teaching in nursing. Enhancing ethical sensitivity should be conducted for undergraduate nursing students which crucial for preparing students to enter nursing profession, as well as the continuing education program for graduated nurses. The guidelines for teaching in order to develop ethical sensitivity suggested that learners should be allowed to expose to real-life experiences, and have proper role models. The integrated teaching methods which are effective to promote ethical skills such as group discussion, using of case study, role taking, reflction, nursing ethical round, and multidisciplinary ethical committee were recommended.
