บทบาทพยาบาลเพื่อลดการมารักษาล่าช้าของผู้ป่วย กลุ่มอาการหลอดเลือดหัวใจเฉียบพลัน Nurses’ Roles in Decreasing Delay Access to Treatment in Acute Coronary Syndrome Patients

Abstract

โรคหลอดเลือดหัวใจ (CAD) เป็นปัญหาสุขภาพของประชากรหลายประเทศ รวมทั้งในประเทศไทย แม้มีการพัฒนาวิธี การรักษาไปมากแต่ยังพบว่าผู้ป่วยที่เกิดกลุ่มอาการหลอดเลือดหัวใจเฉียบพลัน (Acute Coronary Syndrome)ส่วนหนึ่งเข้าถึง การรักษาที่ล่าช้าซึ่งเกิดจากทั้งปัจจัยในตัวผู้ป่วยและปัจจัยภายนอก การรักษาที่ล่าช้าส่งผลให้ผู้ป่วยสูญเสียประสิทธิภาพการทำงาน ของกล้ามเนื้อหัวใจจนอาจทำงานไม่มีประสิทธิภาพและทำให้คุณภาพชีวิตลดลง พยาบาลวิชาชีพจึงต้องเข้าใจบทบาทและหน่วยงาน ของตนเอง ว่าอยู่ในโรงพยาบาลระดับใดเพื่อทำการเชื่อมประสานระบบให้เป็นเนื้อเดียวกัน ไม่ว่าผู้ป่วยจะเข้ามาส่วนใดของระบบบริการสุขภาพและระยะเจ็บป่วยใดก็สามารถเข้าถึงการป้องกัน ลดปัจจัยเสี่ยงและการเกิดอาการ การวินิจฉัยและรักษาที่รวดเร็ว โดยมุ่งที่ผลลัพธ์ทางสุขภาพเพิ่มโอกาสให้คุณภาพชีวิตผู้ป่วยกลุ่มนี้ดีขึ้นต่อไป

Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) is a major health problem among people in many countries including Thailand. Although there has been a signifiant development and advanced technology of treatment, the number of patients which acute coronary syndrome (ACS) still increase due to delay access to treatment. The causes of delay access were from both internal and external factors, leading to loss of cardiac function, ineffective heart function and decreased quality of life. Nurses must be able to realize roles in their context and their organization in order to harmonize other parts of health system to reduce delay access to treatment for ACS patient. This would eventually contribute to greater health outcomes and better quality of life.
