Factors Related to the Result of the Nursing License Examination among Graduated Nurses, Faculty of Nursing, Eastern Asia University

Abstract

The purpose of this descriptive study was to examine relationship between factors and result of the nursing license examination, Faculty of Nursing, Eastern Asia University. The sample consisted of 94 nursing students. Data were collected by four self-administered questionnaires including Demographic data form, Behavioral Preparation for exam registration Questionnaire, Learning and Teaching Management Questionnaire, and Knowledge Reviewing Process Questionnaire. Pearson’s product moment correlation was used to explore the relationship between each factors and result of the nursing license examination. Findings revealed that grade point average and behavioral preparation were positive significant relationship with the result of the nursing license examination (r= .58, p<.001, r= .42, p<.005). Knowledge reviewing process, post-test, and learning and teaching management were not relationship with the result of the nursing license examination.
