สมรรถนะในการดูแลผู้ป่วยระยะสุดท้ายแบบประคับประคอง ของพยาบาลวิชาชีพในเขตสุขภาพที่ 11

การวิจัยเชิงสำรวจภาคตัดขวางครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาสมรรถนะในการดูแลผู้ป่วยระยะสุดท้ายแบบประคับ ประคองของพยาบาลวิชาชีพในเขตสุขภาพที่ 11 กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นพยาบาลวิชาชีพที่ปฏิบัติงานในเขตสุขภาพที่ 11 จำนวน 349 คน เลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่าง โดยวิธีการสุ่มแบบชั้นภูมิและคำนวณตามสัดส่วน ผู้วิจัยส่งแบบสอบถามทางไปรษณีย์ และได้รับคืน จำนวน 331 คน (ร้อยละ 94.84) เครื่องมือวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 1) แบบบันทึกข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล และ2) แบบประเมินสมรรถนะในการดูแล ผู้ป่วยระยะสุดท้ายแบบประคับประคอง วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา และสถิติสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์เพียร์สัน ผลการศึกษา พบว่า 1) กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีระดับความรู้ในการดูแลผู้ป่วยระยะสุดท้ายแบบประคับประคอง ในระดับปานกลาง มากที่สุด ร้อยละ 54.10 ส่วนใหญ่มีทัศนคติในการดูแลผู้ป่วยระยะสุดท้ายแบบประคับประคอง ในระดับสูง ร้อยละ 82.50 ส่วนการ ปฏิบัติการดูแลผู้ป่วยระยะสุดท้ายแบบประคะบประคองอยู่ในระดับปานกลางมากที่สุด ร้อยละ 63.70 2) ความรู้ในการดูแลผู้ป่วย ระยะสุดท้ายแบบประคับประคองมีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับทัศนคติในการดูแลผู้ป่วยระยะสุดท้ายแบบประคับประคองอย่างมีนัย สำคัญทางสถิติ (r =.216, p <.001) และทัศนคติในการดูแลผู้ป่วยระยะสุดท้ายแบบประคับประคองมีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับการ ปฏิบัติการดูแลผู้ป่วยระยะสุดท้ายแบบประคับประคองอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติเช่นกัน (r = .272, p <.001) ผลจากการศึกษาครั้งนี้ชี้ให้เห็นว่าพยาบาลวิชาชีพยังขาดความรู้ และทักษะในการดูแลผู้ป่วยระยะสุดท้ายแบบประคับ ประคอง แต่มีทัศนคติที่ดีในการดูแลผู้ป่วย ดังนั้นการจัดการอบรมเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะในการดูแลผู้ป่วยระยะสุดท้ายแบบประคับ ประคองจึงมีความจำเป็น เพื่อให้พยาบาลจะสามารถให้ความช่วยเหลือในการดูแลผู้ป่วยได้อย่างมีคุณภาพต่อไป
