ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์ต่อการสูญเสียสมรรถภาพการได้ยินจากการสัมผัสเสียงดัง ของพนักงานโรงงานแปรรูปไม้แห่งหนึ่ง ในจังหวัดปทุมธานี

การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาแบบภาคตัดขวางนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการสูญเสียสมรรถภาพการได้ยินจากการสัมผัสเสียงดัง และศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์ต่อการสูญเสียสมรรถภาพการได้ยินจากการสัมผัสเสียงดังของพนักงานโรงงานแปรรูปไม้แห่งหนึ่ง ในจังหวัดปทุมธานี กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ พนักงานโรงงานแปรรูปไม้ จำนวน 112 คน เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้เครื่องตรวจสมรรถภาพการได้ยิน เครื่องวัดเสียง และแบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติไคสแควร์ และการทดสอบของฟิชเชอร์
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า สมรรถภาพการได้ยินของพนักงานแปรรูปไม้ส่วนใหญ่ผิดปกติ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 59.8 ระดับความดังเสียงเฉลี่ยภายในพื้นที่ทำงานตลอดระยะเวลาทำงาน 8 ชั่วโมงทำงาน อยู่ในช่วง 63.5-87.9 dB(A) พบพื้นที่ที่มีระดับเสียงดังที่เกินมาตรฐานที่กฎหมายกำหนดมากกว่า 85 dB(A) จำนวน 2 พื้นที่ คือ แผนกเลื่อยไม้ (87.9 dB(A)) และแผนกตัดแต่งเก็บคม (85.6 dB(A)) และพบว่าอายุ (p-value = 0.002) ประสบการณ์การทำงาน (p-value = 0.036) และการใส่อุปกรณ์ปกป้องการได้ยิน (p-value = 0.044) มีความสัมพันธ์กับการสูญเสียสมรรถภาพการได้ยินจากเสียงดังอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 ผลการวิจัยชี้ให้เห็นความจำเป็นในการปรับปรุงสภาพแวดล้อมการทำงานเพื่อลดการสัมผัสเสียงดัง การให้ความรู้และฝึกอบรมพนักงานในการใช้อุปกรณ์ป้องกันการได้ยิน รวมถึงการเฝ้าระวังสมรรถภาพการได้ยินเป็นประจำ เพื่อป้องกันการสูญเสียสมรรถภาพการได้ยินในกลุ่มแรงงานอุตสาหกรรมไม้แปรรูป
