การประเมินความเครียดและภาวะซึมเศร้าของแรงงานข้ามชาติในโรงงาน อำเภอแม่สอด จังหวัดตาก: การศึกษาเชิงสำรวจภาคตัดขวาง

การศึกษาเชิงสำรวจภาคตัดขวางนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาระดับความเครียด ภาวะซึมเศร้า และปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับความเครียดของแรงงานข้ามชาติที่ทำงานในโรงงาน อำเภอแม่สอด จังหวัดตาก จำนวน 523 ราย เก็บข้อมูลด้วยการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบง่าย ใช้แบบสอบถามของกรมสุขภาพจิต ประกอบด้วย 1) ข้อมูลทั่วไป (จำนวน 13 ข้อ) 2) แบบประเมินความเครียด (ST-5) และ 3) แบบคัดกรองภาวะซึมเศร้าและแนวโน้มการฆ่าตัวตาย การเก็บข้อมูลเริ่มด้วยแบบประเมินโรคซึมเศร้า 2 คำถาม หากพบว่ามีความเสี่ยงที่จะเป็นโรคซึมเศร้า ดำเนินการต่อด้วยการใช้แบบประเมินโรคซึมเศร้า 9 คำถาม และเมื่อพบอาการโรคซึมเศร้าตั้งแต่ระดับน้อยขึ้นไป ทำการประเมินต่อด้วยแบบประเมินการฆ่าตัวตาย 8 คำถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติ Chi-square และ Fisher's exact test
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ร้อยละ 66.5 เป็นเพศหญิง มีอายุเฉลี่ย 30 ปี (S.D. = 7.9) ร้อยละ 97.3 มีความเครียดน้อย ความชุกของความเครียด เป็น 2.7 ต่อ 100 เมื่อพิจารณาความสัมพันธ์ของตัวแปร พบว่า เพศ อายุ สถานภาพสมรส ระดับการศึกษา โรคประจำตัว ระยะเวลาอยู่ในประเทศไทย ไม่มีความสัมพันธ์ความเครียดอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p-value > 0.05) สำหรับภาวะซึมเศร้า พบกลุ่มเสี่ยง ร้อยละ 8.8 ในจำนวนนี้ ร้อยละ 13.0 มีอาการซึมเศร้าระดับน้อย และร้อยละ 0.4 มีแนวโน้มฆ่าตัวตายระดับต่ำ งานวิจัยนี้สามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการติดตาม เฝ้าระวัง สุขภาพจิตของกลุ่มตัวอย่าง อย่างไรก็ตามการศึกษานี้ดำเนินการในโรงงานที่ขึ้นทะเบียนแรงงานถูกต้องตามกฎหมาย เป็นการศึกษาแบบภาคตัดขวาง มีข้อจำกัดในการระบุความสัมพันธ์เชิงเหตุและผล และการไม่ได้ควบคุมตัวแปรกรวน ดังนั้นการนำผลการศึกษาไปใช้ จึงควรพิจารณาอย่างระมัดระวัง
