บทคัดย่อ

     การวิจัยกึ่งทดลองครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบคะแนนความปวดก่อน-หลังการอยู่ไฟชุดสมุนไพร และ 2) เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจของผู้ใช้ในกลุ่มนักศึกษาหญิงมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลอีสาน วิทยาเขตสกลนคร กลุ่มตัวอย่างได้รับการคัดเลือกแบบเจาะจง จำนวน 30 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย ชุดอยู่ไฟสมุนไพร (อุณหภูมิ 40-45 องศาเซลเซียส) แบบประเมินระดับความปวด และแบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจ การศึกษาใช้รูปแบบการทดลองแบบกลุ่มเดียววัดก่อนและหลังการทดลอง โดยให้อาสาสมัครใช้ชุดอยู่ไฟสมุนไพรบริเวณหน้าท้องเหนือเนินหัวเน่า ครั้งละ 15 นาที วันละ 3 ครั้ง (ก่อนอาหาร เช้า กลางวัน และเย็น) ในช่วง 1-3 วันก่อนมีประจำเดือน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนาและเปรียบเทียบค่าเฉลี่ยด้วยสถิติ Paired t-test
     ผลการวิจัยพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่มีอาการปวดประจำเดือนทุกเดือนและส่งผลกระทบต่อสมาธิในการเรียน ภายหลังการทดลองใช้ชุดอยู่ไฟสมุนไพร ระดับความปวดประจำเดือนลดลงอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 โดยคะแนนความปวดเฉลี่ยลดลงจาก 5.20 ± 0.76 คะแนน เหลือ 1.63 ± 0.99 คะแนน (p-value < 0.001) นอกจากนี้ ผู้เข้าร่วมวิจัยมีความพึงพอใจต่อการใช้ชุดอยู่ไฟสมุนไพรอยู่ในระดับมาก (Mean = 4.26, S.D. = 0.72) สรุปผล การอยู่ไฟชุดสมุนไพรมีประสิทธิผลในการบรรเทาอาการปวดประจำเดือนชนิดปฐมภูมิได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ และเป็นทางเลือกในการดูแลสุขภาพตนเองสำหรับสตรีวัยเจริญพันธุ์
