ความชุกของการดื่มแอลกอฮอล์อย่างหนักในโอกาสเดียวและความสัมพันธ์กับภาวะซึมเศร้าในนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัย

บทคัดย่อ
วัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาความชุกของพฤติกรรมการดื่มแอลกอฮอล์อย่างหนักในโอกาสเดียว ในนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีและปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง 2) ศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างพฤติกรรมการดื่มแอลกอฮอล์อย่างหนักในโอกาสเดียวกับภาวะซึมเศร้า
วิธีการศึกษา เป็นการศึกษาแบบภาคตัดขวางในนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ โดยใช้แบบสอบถาม 4 ส่วน ได้แก่ 1) ข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล 2) พฤติกรรมการดื่มสุราและพฤติกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้อง 3) Patient Health Questionnaire-9 และ 4) แบบสอบถามการคาดหวังผลในการดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ ใช้ Fisher’s exact test และ Logistic regression เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์กับปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง
ผลการศึกษา จากผู้เข้าร่วมการศึกษา 282 คน พบความชุกของพฤติกรรมการดื่มแอลกอฮอล์อย่างหนักในโอกาสเดียว ร้อยละ 48.58 ไม่พบความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างการดื่มแอลกอฮอล์อย่างหนักในโอกาสเดียวกับภาวะซึมเศร้าอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ พบปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับการเพิ่มขึ้นของพฤติกรรม ได้แก่ เพศสภาพชาย (OR = 2.993, 95% CI 1.190 - 7.529), การสูบบุหรี่ (OR = 11.220, 95% CI 2.898 - 43.448) และการคาดหวังผลด้านการเข้าสังคม (OR = 1.183, 95% CI 1.088 - 1.287) และปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมที่ลดลง ได้แก่ การอาศัยอยู่ที่บ้าน (OR = 0.260, 95% CI 0.081 - 0.839), รายรับต่อเดือนที่เพียงพอแต่ไม่มีเงินเก็บ (OR = 0.208, 95% CI 0.491 - 0.883) และการคาดหวังผลทางเพศ (OR = 0.803, 95% CI 0.699 - 0.923)
สรุป ความชุกของการดื่มแอลกอฮอล์อย่างหนักในโอกาสเดียวของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีสูงกว่าประชากรทั่วไปในวัยใกล้เคียงกัน แต่ผลการศึกษายังไม่สามารถสรุปได้ว่าการดื่มแอลกอฮอล์อย่างหนักในโอกาสเดียวสัมพันธ์กับภาวะซึมเศร้า
