ผลของวีดีทัศน์สื่อความรู้ต่อการลดความวิตกกังวล ในการรักษาทางจิตเวชด้วยไฟฟ้า

บทคัดย่อ
วัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาผลของการรับชมวีดีทัศน์สื่อความรู้เกี่ยวกับการรักษาทางจิตเวชด้วย ไฟฟ้าที่มีต่อความวิตกกังวลเกี่ยวกับการรักษาทางจิตเวชด้วยไฟฟ้า
วิธีการศึกษา เป็นการศึกษาเชิงทดลองแบบสุ่มเลือกเข้ากลุ่ม เปรียบเทียบความวิตกกังวล โดยใช้แบบสอบถาม Amsterdam Preoperational Anxiety and Information Scale (APAIS) ฉบับภาษาไทย ในผู้ป่วยและญาติของผู้ป่วยที่กำลังจะรับการรักษาทางจิตเวชด้วยไฟฟ้าเป็น ครั้งแรก ของภาควิชาจิตเวชศาสตร์ โรงพยาบาลรามาธิบดี โดยเปรียบเทียบระหว่างกลุ่มที่ได้รับ ชมวีดีทัศน์สื่อความรู้ กับกลุ่มที่ได้รับการดูแลตามปกติ ในระหว่างเดือนกรกฎาคม ถึงตุลาคม 2562 วัดในช่วงก่อนเริ่มทำการศึกษา ช่วงหลังจากได้รับข้อมูลความรู้ทันที และหลังจากครบ จำนวนครั้งของการรักษาทางจิตเวชด้วยไฟฟ้าช่วงเฉียบพลัน
ผลการศึกษา สำหรับกลุ่มทดลองที่ได้รับชมวีดีทัศน์สื่อความรู้เกี่ยวกับการรักษาทางจิตเวชด้วย ไฟฟ้า (n = 11) มีคะแนนความวิตกกังวล APAIS น้อยกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมที่ได้รับการดูแลตามปกติ (n = 10) อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติในทุกข้อคำถาม ทั้งช่วงหลังได้รับข้อมูลความรู้ทันทีและ ช่วงหลังจากได้รับการรักษาทางจิตเวชด้วยไฟฟ้าครบจำนวนครั้งและคะแนนมัธยฐานรวมทุกข้อ คำถามของ APAIS ในกลุ่มทดลองช่วงก่อนทำการศึกษาจาก 18 คะแนน เหลือ 10 คะแนนใน ช่วงหลังได้รับข้อมูลความรู้ทันทีและ 6 คะแนนในช่วงหลังจากได้รับการรักษาทางจิตเวชด้วย ไฟฟ้าครบจำนวนครั้ง เปรียบเทียบกับกลุ่มควบคุมที่ได้ 19.5, 18.5 และ 12 คะแนน ใน 3 ช่วง เวลาดังกล่าวตามลำดับ
สรุป การได้รับชมวีดีทัศน์สื่อความรู้เกี่ยวกับการรักษาทางจิตเวชด้วยไฟฟ้าสามารถลดความ วิตกกังวลเกี่ยวกับการรักษาในผู้ป่วยและญาติของผู้ป่วยที่กำลังจะได้รับการรักษาทางจิตเวชด้วย ไฟฟ้าเป็นครั้งแรกได้
