บทคัดย่อ: รายงานผู้ป่วยเด็กชายไทย อายุ 1 ปี 2 เดือน มารับการรักษาด้วยปัญหาไข้ เจ็บคอ ตาแดง ตรวจร่างกายพบตาข้ายวาว เยื่อบุตาแดง ก้อนในลูกตาซ้ายและการหลุดลอกของจอประสาทต เอ๊กซเรย์คอมพิวเตอร์ของลูกตาและสมองพบ solera ของตาซ้ายหนาและพบน้ำในลูกตาขุ่นร่วมกับพบก้อนคล้ายไขมันในลูกตาซ้าย ผู้ป่วยได้รับการทำ Enucleation ของตาข้างช้ายเนื่องจากตาไม่ตอบสนองต่อแสงและมีก้อนในลูกตา ผลทางพยาธิวิทยาเข้าได้กับ Coats' disease รายงานนี้เสนอให้เห็นถึงอาการตาวาวในเด็กเล็ก การวินิจฉัย การวินิจฉัยแยกโรคและทบทวนบทความทางวิชาการต่างๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับโรคนี้
