Submission Preparation Checklist

Author Guidelines

Journal of Hematology and Transfusion Medicine is an official Journal of the Thai Society of Hematology and the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society. However, contributions written in English are welcomed from around the world, submit your manuscript using our online submission system or on the website at https://www.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JHematolTransfusMed.  Abstracting and indexing

- Thailand Citation Index Center (TCI), our journal is indexed in the Tier 1 database of the TCI.

Research and publication ethics

All human and animal research studies must be reviewed and approved by the author’s Institutional Review Board (IRB). The clinical trials must be registered in a public registry prior to enrollment, the journal accepts public registry that follow the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) clinical trial registration policy (https://www.icmje.org).The clinical research involving human subjects must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki https://www.wma.net/en/20activities/10ethics/10helsinki/.

The author should be checked your manuscript before submit to the journal, to confirm that none of the parts of the manuscript is plagiarized from any other sources. The corresponding author must complete the journal form for Disclosure of Potential Conflicts of Interest and submit the form on behalf of all co-authors.

Manuscript preparation

Manuscripts should be submitted in the format of Microsoft Word, the body text should be typed in Angsana UPC, using font size 16 with 1.5 line spacing and number all pages in sequence.

Type of articles

Original Article: All submitted manuscripts being considered for publication undergo peer-review by at least three reviewers who are experts in the field of your research. The original articles should be no more than 5,000 words in length and should contain the following sections:

- Title page that includes the full title, short running title of 75 characters with space, name(s) and affiliation(s) of all author(s), email address, telephone and fax numbers of the corresponding author. 

- Abstract is a concise summary of your research that includes the objective, materials and methods, results, conclusion and at least 2 and up to 5 keywords. The length is limited to 250 words.

- Results  

- Discussion 

- Conclusion

- Acknowledgment 

- References 

- Tables 

- Figures and Figure legends

 Literature Review: Literature review is generally solicited by the Editor-in-Chief, however, authors who wish to submit a review article are invited to contact the editorial office prior to submission. The review articles should be no longer than 5,000 words and should include the following sections:

     - Introduction

     - Text

     - Conclusion

     - References

Case Report: Submissions will be considered for publication by the editor. Case reports should contain the briefly review the relevant literature, the text is limited to 5,000 words and must include the following sections;

- Abstract should be concise, contain no more than 250 words and 2- 5 keywords are required.

- Introduction

- Text

- Conclusion

- References

 Short Communication: Short communication is a brief summary of recently updated articles from high quality journals in Hematology. It is usually written by editorial team.

 Editorial: Editorial is generally written by Editorial Board members that focuses on the issues related to the publishing articles.

Image File: Image file of Hematology should be submitted in JPEG format.  Image should have a minimum resolution of 600 dpi or higher.
