ประสิทธิผลของโปรแกรมการสร้างเสริมสุขภาพช่องปากต่อระดับความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปาก และพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากของผู้สูงอายุ

บทคัดย่อ
บทนำ : ปัญหาสุขภาพช่องปากของผู้สูงอายุยังคงเป็นปัญหาที่สำคัญและป้องกันได้จากการมีพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากที่เหมาะสม
วัตถุประสงค์การวิจัย : เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมการสร้างเสริมสุขภาพช่องปากต่อระดับความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปาก และพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากของผู้สูงอายุ
วิธีดำเนินการวิจัย : รูปแบบการศึกษาแบบกึ่งทดลอง กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้สูงอายุที่มีอายุตั้งแต่ 60-69 ปี
ในเขตสุขภาพที่ 6 จำนวน 70 คน แบ่งเป็นกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มเปรียบเทียบ กลุ่มละ 35 คน โปรแกรมประกอบด้วยกิจกรรมกระบวนการเรียนรู้ 6 กิจกรรม ส่วนกลุ่มเปรียบเทียบได้รับบริการตามขั้นตอนปกติ ในระยะเวลา 12 สัปดาห์ วัดผลด้วยแบบประเมินความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปากและพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปาก โดยการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลก่อนการทดลอง หลังการทดลอง และติดตามผลหลังได้รับโปรแกรม
4 สัปดาห์ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนาและสถิติเชิงอนุมาน Paired t-test และ Independent t-test มีการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนแบบวัดซ้ำ (Repeated Measure ANOVA)
ผลการวิจัย : หลังการเข้าร่วมโปรแกรมกลุ่มทดลองมีความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปาก และพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากสูงกว่าก่อนทดลอง และสูงกว่ากลุ่มเปรียบเทียบ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p<0.05) ส่วนการเปรียบเทียบระหว่างหลังทดลองและระยะติดตามผล กลุ่มทดลองมีความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปาก และพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากคงอยู่
สรุปผล : โปรแกรมการสร้างเสริมสุขภาพช่องปากทำให้ผู้สูงอายุมีความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปากและพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากที่ดีขึ้น ดังนั้นหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องควรกำหนดโครงการสร้างเสริมสุขภาพช่องปากของผู้สูงอายุเพื่อลดการเกิดปัญหาในช่องปากต่อไป
