การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมความเอื้ออาทรของพยาบาลเวชปฏิบัติของ วิทยาลัยพยาบาลบรมราชชนนี สุรินทร์ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ พยาบาลเวชปฏิบัติที่สำเร็จหลักสูตรการพยาบาลเฉพาะทางสาขาเวชปฏิบัติ(การรักษาโรคเบื้องต้น) จากวิทยาลัยพยาบาลบรมราชชนนี สุรินทร์ รุ่นที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2552 จำนวน 81 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย เป็นแบบสอบถามพฤติกรรมความเอื้ออาทรของพยาบาลเวชปฏิบัติ และการประชุมกลุ่มย่อย (Focus group)เกี่ยวกับกระบวนการฝึกปฏิบัติที่ใช้แนวคิดพื้นฐานของความเอื้ออาทรในสถานบริการสุขภาพ 3 ระดับ คือ ปฐมภูมิทุติยภูมิ และตติยภูมิ ซึ่งจัดให้ฝึกในศูนย์สุขภาพชุมชน (Primary care unit: PCU) โรงพยาบาลส่งเสริมสุขภาพตำบลโรงพยาบาลชุมชน โรงพยาบาลทั่วไป และโรงพยาบาลศูนย์ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ยและส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานผลการวิจัยพบว่า พฤติกรรมความเอื้ออาทรของพยาบาลเวชปฏิบัติ 5 อันดับแรกที่อยู่ในระดับมาก มีดังนี้1) มีความตั้งใจเอาใจใส่งานที่รับผิดชอบ 2) มีความเป็นมิตรกับผู้อื่น 3) ยอมรับ และปรับปรุงแก้ไขข้อบกพร่องในการทำงาน 4) เป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีในงานบริการสุขภาพ และ 5) ยกย่องให้เกียรติเพื่อนร่วมงานและผู้รับบริการ( = 4.44, 4.40, 4.38, 4.27 และ 4.25 S.D. = 0.67, 0.58, 0.56, 0.63 และ 0.60 ตามลำดับ) นอกจากนั้นการฝึกปฏิบัติงานโดยใช้แนวคิดความเอื้ออาทร ทำให้พยาบาลเวชปฏิบัติมีความรัก ความห่วงใย ความปรารถนาดี ความเอาใจใส่ ระมัดระวัง และดูแลประชาชนให้ได้รับบริการที่ดี รวมทั้งมีการเยี่ยมบ้าน (Health care home visit) ซึ่งถือเป็นพฤติกรรมการปฏิบัติงานในชุมชนหรือการพยาบาลปฐมภูมิ (Primary medical care: PMC) โดยให้การดูแลผู้ป่วยและครอบครัวด้วยความเอื้ออาทร ด้วยหัวใจความเป็นมนุษย์ และมีความสามารถบริหารจัดการเพื่อให้บ้านของผู้ป่วยมีสภาพเหมือนสถานบริการสุขภาพหรือเรียกว่ามีลักษณะเป็น Homeward

Abstract

Caring is a core value in nursing practice and thus the capacity to care is a desired attribute innursing profession. Caring behaviors are defined as behaviors evidenced by nurses in caring for patientsand people. It is important to encourage caring behaviors in practice of nursing practitioner program. Thepurpose of this research was to study the caring behaviors of nurse practitioners who graduated nursingpractitioner program from Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Surin in academic year 2009. There were 81 participants. The research instruments were thenurse practitioners’ caring behaviors questionnaireand focus group. The research was conducted inPrimary care unit (PCU), Health promotion districthospital, and General hospital. Data were analyzedusing frequency, mean, and standard deviation. Theresults of the study shown that nurse practitionersreported high level of caring behaviors in f ive areas:1) responsibility and intentionality of caring,2) friendliness towards others, 3) attentive listening,4) role model in health care services, and 5) respectfor patients and colleagues ( = 4.44, 4.40, 4.38,4.27 และ 4.25 S.D. = 0.67, 0.58, 0.56, 0.63 และ0.60 respectively). The study also found that nursepractitioners provided good services and care forpatients and their family with humanize in Primarycare unit, and Health care home visit. Moreover, theircompassion outlook and an inclination of caring byheart were observed and they were achievable tomanage patient’s house as Homeward.
