บทคัดย่อ

ผลไม้เป็นอาหารที่มนุษย์นิยมบริโภคโดยทั่วไปการใช้ยาที่ใช้รักษาโรคมะเร็งร่วมกับการรับประทานผลไม้บางชนิดอาจเกิดอันตรกิริยาระหว่างผลไม้กับยาได้ ผลไม้ที่มีรายงานออกฤทธิ์กระตุ้นหรือยับยั้งเอนไซม์ไซโตโครม พี 450 และพี-กลัยโคโปรตีนที่แรง เช่น เกรปฟรุ๊ต มะเฟือง สัปปะรด และส้มโอ อาจส่งผลให้ระดับยาในเลือดของยาที่ใช้รักษามะเร็งเปลี่ยนแปลงไปอาจมีผลต่อประสิทธิผลและความปลอดภัยได้ ข้อมูลการเกิดอันตรกิริยาระหว่างผลไม้และยาที่ใช้รักษามะเร็งส่วนใหญ่ มาจากการศึกษาในหลอดทดลอง มีข้อจำกัดด้านผลการทดลองทางคลินิกแต่อาจใช้เป็นแนวทางเฝ้าระวังการเกิดอันตรกิริยาระหว่างยา หรือใช้ในกรณีที่เกิดอาการไม่พึงประสงค์ขึ้นแล้วเพื่อเป็นแนวทางในการจัดการอาการข้างเคียงรวมถึงการให้คำแนะนำกับผู้ป่วยในการรับประทานผลไม้ในระหว่างที่ใช้ยาในการรักษาโรคมะเร็งอย่างเหมาะสม
