Abstract

This descriptive research aimed to 1) compare the certification system between www.pinkforms.com and www.thainsw.net, 2) study the effectiveness between www.pinkforms.com and www.thainsw.net, and 3) study the feedback from authorities responsible for issuing the certificate through the www.thainsw.net. Tools being used in the certification system were www.pinkforms.com and www.thainsw.net. In addition, the authorities’ feedback was also obtained via questionnaire. Qualitative data analysis was concluded by description. The results showed that www.thaisw.net facilitates entrepreneurs in every process, but entrepreneurs have to invest in developing system that connects to the Customs Department. The operating system is safe according to international standards, but it does not show access history. The system has reduced the budget by half when compared to www.pinkforms.com. Materials being used for issuing certificates were significantly reduced. A copy of documents is no longer required. The digital signature of the authorized person saves more time and resources. The system is secure as it is linked to the authentication of the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Commerce. Backup files are created as Excel/CSV/PDF. The system is capable of processing and analyzing data in terms of quantity, percentages and graphs. The questionnaire analysis indicated that the overall efficiency of the www.thaisw.net was rated as good.
