บทคัดย่อ

ภาวะไตวายเฉียบพลัน เป็นภาวะวิกฤตที่พบได้บ่อยในผู้สูงอายุหลังได้รับการผ่าตัด สามารถเกิดได้ตั้งแต่ระยะก่อนผ่าตัด ระหว่างการผ่าตัด และหลังผ่าตัด เนื่องจากผู้สูงอายุมีปัจจัยเสี่ยงหลายประการและมีความซับซ้อนทั้งกระบวนการชรา โรคร่วมเรื้อรัง ชนิดของการผ่าตัด และภาวะแทรกซ้อนอื่น ๆ ที่พบในระหว่างผ่าตัดส่งผลให้ผู้สูงอายุมีความรุนแรงของภาวะไตวายเฉียบพลันได้มากกว่าบุคคลวัยอื่น จึงก่อให้เกิดภาวะแทรกซ้อนที่รุนแรงมากกว่าหรือมีอัตราการเสียชีวิตที่สูงขึ้น ส่งผลให้การรักษาตัวที่โรงพยาบาลนานขึ้น หรือต้องได้รับการบำบัดแทนไตอย่างต่อเนื่อง คุณภาพชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุลดลง ซึ่งพยาบาลวิชาชีพมีบทบาทสำคัญในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุในแต่ละระยะของการผ่าตัดอย่างใกล้ชิด ได้แก่ การประเมินอาการและอาการแสดง กระบวนชราที่เป็นปัจจัยเสี่ยงต่อการเกิดภาวะไตวายเฉียบพลัน รวมถึงการจัดการสาเหตุที่ป้องกันได้ และลดภาวะแทรกซ้อนอื่น ๆ ที่อาจเกิดขึ้นในระยะยาว บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้พยาบาลวิชาชีพตระหนักถึงภาวะวิกฤตจากภาวะไตวายเฉียบพลันหลังการผ่าตัดในผู้สูงอายุมีความรู้ในการเฝ้าระวังอาการและอาการแสดงต่าง ๆ ป้องกันความรุนแรงของภาวะไตวายเฉียบพลัน และสามารถดูแลผู้สูงอายุหลังการผ่าตัดที่ได้รับการบำบัดทดแทนไตได้อย่างเหมาะสม เพื่อป้องกันการเกิดภาวะไตวายเรื้อรัง และเพิ่มคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุหลังการผ่าตัดให้ดียิ่งขึ้น
